Software Engineer 4 - TV Product UI

About the role

Netflix is looking for a senior engineer to craft cutting‑edge user interfaces for its flagship TV application. You will work remotely, shaping experiences that run on a wide range of streaming devices while collaborating closely with product, design, and data teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance UI components for TV‑connected devices using TypeScript and React.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and algorithm engineers to scope and deliver feature initiatives.
• Write testable code and develop automated Jest‑based tests to ensure feature quality.
• Conduct A/B experiments to validate user impact and iterate on solutions.
• Maintain ownership of feature delivery from concept through production, measuring business outcomes.

Eligibility

• Minimum three years of experience building consumer‑facing applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with related stacks such as Node.js and GraphQL.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, make trade‑offs, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Curiosity about user behavior and a passion for delivering entertaining experiences.
