Solutions Engineer

About the role

MISUMI Americas is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru, India. The role involves working with complex North American client requirements and reliable production lines, with a focus on DFM analysis, CNC cost estimation, and engineering drawings & GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Accurate cost estimation and manufacturing timelines for advanced CNC machining workflows and custom component lines
• DFM analysis to catch geometric challenges and suggest alternate changes
• Engineering drawing verification and interpretation of structural blueprints, material specifications, and GD&T metrics
• Cross-functional coordination with internal sales, global sourcing, quality control, and external manufacturing partners
• Customer consultation to clear up technical parameters and offer optimized process modifications

Eligibility

• 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical training
• Foundational familiarity with CNC machining processes and 3D printing configurations
• Robust conceptual grasp of coordinate tolerancing standards and regular mechanical drawing conventions
• Excellent verbal and written English communication capacities
