About the role
Michelin is looking for a junior GenAI Data Scientist who is a fresh graduate. The position involves creating, testing, and deploying AI chatbots, generative‑AI agents, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) applications using Python and large language models.
Responsibilities
- Build simple GenAI agents with frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain.
- Develop backend components for AI chatbots leveraging LLMs and agent workflows.
- Handle structured data, document sources, APIs and databases to feed AI models.
- Create basic RAG pipelines for document search and question‑answering.
- Write clean, reusable Python code and perform unit testing of chatbot responses.
- Support deployment, debugging, logging and error handling, and keep technical documentation up‑to‑date.
