About the role

Kaleris is looking for a Technical Services Intern in Chennai to help explore AI‑driven tooling, support software development, and ensure secure coding practices. You will work alongside senior engineers, build prototypes with large‑language‑model APIs, and contribute to real customer projects in the marine sector.

Responsibilities

  • Research, trial and recommend AI coding assistants and developer tools.
  • Build prototypes and proofs‑of‑concept using LLM APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation and simple AI agents.
  • Support design, development and testing of applications, integrations and automation scripts.
  • Assist in debugging, maintaining code, and writing unit tests and documentation.
  • Apply secure‑coding basics and help define safe‑use guidelines for AI tools.
  • Track time saved and quality improvements from AI adoption.
