Lead Software Engineer – React Front End

About the role

JPMorgan Chase is looking for a seasoned Lead Software Engineer to drive the design and delivery of high‑performance React front‑end solutions for its Commercial and Investment Bank division. You will work on‑site with an agile team, shaping cloud‑native, micro‑service based applications while championing secure and AI‑enhanced development practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain React‑based user interfaces that meet performance and security standards.
• Produce clean, production‑ready code and perform peer reviews to ensure quality.
• Collaborate on end‑to‑end delivery of cloud‑native micro‑services, integrating front‑end components with backend APIs.
• Identify and automate repetitive remediation tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Promote AI‑assisted engineering tools such as automated code review, refactoring, and test generation across the team.
• Establish and enforce standards for secure coding, automated testing, and reusable patterns.

Eligibility

• Proven experience in building large‑scale React applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and micro‑service architectures.
