About the role

Illumina is seeking an Associate SAP Developer to build, test, deploy and support business applications on SAP platforms. The role blends SAP development with cloud‑native, AI‑enhanced solutions and requires collaboration across agile teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain SAP‑based business applications and extensions.
Create cloud‑native integrations, automations and AI‑driven processes.
Connect SAP solutions with enterprise APIs, databases and external services.
Implement user‑focused experiences using SAP and modern web technologies.
Participate in testing, performance tuning, documentation and production support.
Contribute to automation, developer productivity and AI‑assisted engineering initiatives.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
1‑3 years of professional experience in software development.
Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Demonstrated ownership, adaptability and a learning mindset.

Skills

Core SAP development knowledge.
Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, JavaScript or Java.
Familiarity with cloud concepts, REST APIs and modern software engineering practices.
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Interest in AI‑enabled business solutions and automation.
