Procure to Pay Specialist

About the role

IBM is hiring a Procure to Pay Specialist for its Bangalore BPO centre. The role involves processing accounts‑payable transactions, managing vendor accounts and supporting digital transformation initiatives through agile and AI‑enabled workflows. Candidates will work in shifts, receive mentorship from experienced coaches, and grow within IBM’s consulting ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay activities, including invoice matching, error identification and exception resolution.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure timely payment processing.
• Adhere to service level agreements and meet daily processing targets.
• Identify potential risks in transactions and recommend corrective actions.
• Respond to internal queries, follow up on pending items, and reduce invoice aging.
• Participate in change‑management initiatives and collaborate closely with team members.

Eligibility

• Commerce graduate with a focus on accounts payable.
• Fundamental understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Self‑motivated, ambitious and able to work independently.
