About the role

IBM Finance & Operations is hiring an Associate Software Engineer for its Bangalore office. This entry‑level position is targeted at fresh graduates (2024‑2026) to develop and test software components that support business processes, leveraging AI tools and industry‑standard development practices under senior mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software components with guidance from senior engineers.
• Write, unit‑test, and document code to maintain high quality standards.
• Participate in debugging and testing activities to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, actively seeking feedback.
• Utilize AI tools to boost productivity and streamline routine tasks.
• Follow the team’s SDLC and agile methodologies while delivering assigned tasks on time.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology or a related discipline.
• Graduation batch years 2024, 2025 or 2026.
• Zero to one year of professional experience (freshers welcome).
