About the role

Honeywell is hiring a full‑time Software Engineer I focused on UI development in Bangalore. The position is aimed at recent graduates or early‑career developers with up to two years of hands‑on experience in front‑end technologies, and it offers the chance to build responsive web applications that power Honeywell’s industrial solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Translate product requirements and UX designs into clean, responsive user interfaces.
  • Develop front‑end components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern UI framework such as React or Angular.
  • Integrate UI components with back‑end services through REST APIs.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless feature delivery.
  • Write unit and integration tests, debug issues, and maintain code quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and adopt best practices for version control using Git.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0–2 years of relevant software development experience, including internships or substantial academic projects.

Skills

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with React, Angular or a comparable UI framework.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
  • Basic knowledge of Git for source‑control management.
  • Ability to debug, test, and troubleshoot front‑end code.
