About the role

HCLTech is hiring fresh engineering graduates for a full‑time Engineer position in Chennai. The role is part of the Material Compliance (IMDS) team and focuses on applying basic materials‑engineering knowledge to support automotive and industrial product compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse material data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain material declarations using the International Material Data System (IMDS).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather technical information.
• Support data handling tasks such as sorting, filtering and documenting material properties.
• Adapt quickly to new tools, processes and domain concepts.

Eligibility

• Full‑time B.E/B.Tech degree in any discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical or Materials engineering preferred).
• Fresh graduate (0‑3 years of experience).
• Current residence in Chennai.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication, teamwork and adaptability.
