Software Development Engineer I

About the role

Gokwik is hiring a Software Development Engineer I to work on backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and Go.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, maintain, and optimize scalable backend services
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and backend systems
• Contribute to event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka
• Ship end-to-end full-stack features, including frontend components

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related streams
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in software development

Skills

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS
• Working knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
