About the role

Fynd is looking for an Agentic Software Development Engineer - 2 to design and deliver secure, scalable software that reinforces its engineering platforms. The role focuses on embedding security throughout the development lifecycle, participating in VAPT activities, and ensuring high‑quality production code.

Responsibilities

Develop, test and maintain software components with an emphasis on security and reliability.
Translate business and technical requirements into robust engineering solutions in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Take part in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and help remediate identified issues.
Write clean, efficient code following secure coding standards and best practices.
Debug, troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance bottlenecks and security weaknesses.
Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving architecture and development practices.

Eligibility

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
Hands‑on experience in identifying, analyzing and fixing security vulnerabilities.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
Experience with debugging, code reviews and delivering production‑grade code.
Understanding of secure software development lifecycle practices.

Skills

Strong programming abilities in modern languages.
Experience with secure coding and vulnerability remediation.
Familiarity with VAPT processes and OWASP Top 10.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
Exposure to cloud platforms or distributed systems.
