Software Engineer

About the role

FinBox, an AI‑driven digital lending platform, offers an API‑first operating system that enables banks, NBFCs and fintechs to launch and scale lending products quickly. As a Software Engineer you will configure client journeys, author integration specifications, maintain technical documentation, troubleshoot issues across environments, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless partner integrations.

Responsibilities

• Set up client journeys and workflow configurations in Builder Studio according to approved requirements.
• Draft and review detailed configuration specs, including JQ transformations, regex validations, and parameter mappings.
• Keep integration specifications, technical workflows, and solution documentation up‑to‑date for smooth handover.
• Diagnose and resolve problems during UAT, staging, and production stages.
• Work closely with Engineering, Program Management, QA and Product teams to deliver successful partner integrations.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert on FinBox APIs and data flows for assigned clients.
• Monitor production alerts via Sentry and triage or escalate incidents following SOPs.

Eligibility

• 1–3 years of experience in application engineering, product integrations, or API‑centric solution development.
• Strong grasp of REST APIs, JSON structures, relational databases (SQL) and API testing tools such as Postman or cURL.
• Ability to produce detailed configuration documents, API specifications and workflow diagrams.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Product, QA and Business.
• High sense of ownership with structured problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
