Associate Consultant – Forensics

About the role

The Associate Consultant – Forensics position in Chennai supports EY's Forensic & Integrity Services team. You will work on investigations, compliance reviews, fraud risk assessments and data‑driven analysis for a variety of clients, delivering actionable insights while gaining exposure to regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute client engagements and produce high‑quality deliverables within agreed timelines.
• Adhere to EY’s risk‑management policies throughout all phases of a project.
• Analyse business and industry trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Communicate findings, recommendations and reports to stakeholders clearly and professionally.
• Suggest and implement process‑enhancement ideas to boost engagement efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to a positive, high‑performing culture.

Eligibility

• B.Com graduates – 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• M.Com or MBA graduates – 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel for client assignments when required.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is a plus.
