Data & AI Engineering Intern

About the role

Electronic Arts is seeking a Data & AI Engineering Intern for its Hyderabad office. The intern will design and implement Python‑based data ingestion, transformation, and validation pipelines, prototype generative AI solutions with large language models, and assist in building scalable ETL/ELT workflows. This position blends core data‑engineering skills with cutting‑edge AI experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python and SQL solutions for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Build prototypes using LLMs, prompt engineering, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, embeddings, vector search, tool calling, and agentic workflows.
• Assist in creating scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, APIs, and reusable data products.
• Apply testing, data‑quality checks, security, governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams, presenting findings and recommendations.

Eligibility

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong fundamentals in Python, SQL, programming, and problem‑solving.
• Basic understanding of databases, data pipelines, APIs, and Generative AI.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development.
