About the role

Edwards Lifesciences is offering a six‑month, full‑time IT internship at its Pune Innovation Hub from January to June 2027. The program is paid, targets students in computer‑related disciplines, and provides hands‑on experience with AI, data, automation and enterprise software projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and support technology solutions for internal tools.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to analyse problems and improve processes.
  • Assist in data analysis, reporting, and automation initiatives.
  • Document requirements, designs, workflows and project outcomes.
  • Participate in testing, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
  • Present updates and recommendations to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Eligibility

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems or a related engineering field.
  • Available full‑time for the entire January‑June 2027 period.
  • Good academic standing and a clear interest in software development, data analytics, AI, automation or cloud technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Skills

  • Python programming.
  • SQL for data querying.
  • Data analytics and visualization (e.g., Power BI).
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms.
  • Software development practices and version‑control tools such as Git or CI/CD pipelines.
