Associate Engineer

About the role

Eaton, a global power management firm, is hiring an Associate Engineer to join its IoT platform team in Pune. The role involves developing and maintaining cloud‑enabled software solutions using C# and Python, contributing to design, coding, testing, and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to design and implement components of an Internet of Things platform, primarily using C# and Python.
• Write clean, unit‑tested code and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, comments and performance metrics.
• Provide effort estimates and actively participate in design and code review sessions.
• Follow agile methodologies to deliver incremental features on schedule.
• Continuously expand technical knowledge by studying new development techniques and reading industry publications.
• Work with testing teams to achieve comprehensive test coverage, troubleshoot defects, and create automated test scripts.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E or B.Tech).
• Up to two years of progressive experience in software development, including hands‑on work with C# and .NET.
