Apprentice - IT ERP, SAP AI & DevSecOps

About the role

Eaton is seeking an Apprentice to join its IT ERP, SAP AI and DevSecOps teams in Pune. The position provides hands‑on exposure to enterprise ERP platforms, artificial‑intelligence projects and secure software delivery while collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Aid in designing, developing, testing and documenting AI‑driven ERP and DevSecOps solutions.
• Perform prompt engineering, assess AI use‑cases and embed AI capabilities into SAP/Oracle applications.
• Help create SAP and Oracle enhancements, proof‑of‑concepts and AI‑enabled prototypes.
• Automate reporting and metric collection to improve visibility and decision‑making.
• Contribute to R&D on automation, platform engineering and security while using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, ServiceNow and SharePoint.
• Produce clear technical notes, presentations and user guides, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams under mentorship.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Graduation batch years 2024, 2025 or 2026.
• 0‑2 years of academic projects, internships or relevant experience.
• Strong interest in enterprise technology, AI and responsible AI usage.

Skills

• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines and source‑control.
• Awareness of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and SAP AI features.
• Scripting or programming exposure, preferably Python.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and collaboration tools like Jira, ServiceNow or SharePoint.
