About the role

Databricks is looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to design and deliver customer‑facing workflows on its Control Plane. You will own end‑to‑end UI experiences, enable self‑serve onboarding for product teams, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating across product and backend groups.

Responsibilities

Design and implement simple, reusable UI flows that support multiple user journeys in the Databricks Control Plane.
Build modular, self‑serve interfaces that allow product teams to create standard customer experiences.
Partner with product managers, backend engineers, and other cross‑functional partners to ship high‑quality software.
Plan and execute complex, multi‑team projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with long‑term vision.
Create, deploy, test, and evolve data pipelines that power visual data‑graph features.
Deliver a polished, SQL‑centric data exploration and dashboarding experience.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior full‑stack engineers.

Eligibility

Minimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
Proven track record leading large, multi‑quarter initiatives with measurable customer impact.
Experience building large‑scale distributed systems from the ground up.
Ability to work toward a multi‑year product vision while delivering incremental value.
Strong customer‑obsession and focus on delivering tangible value.
Familiarity with server‑side web technologies (a plus).
Deep knowledge of modern front‑end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
Background in building SaaS platforms or service‑oriented architectures.
