Full Stack Software Engineer - Billing Team

About the role

Build the mission‑critical cloud billing, metering and subscription platform for ClickHouse Cloud using React, TypeScript and Node.js. You will design, develop and operate highly available services that power billing flows, integrate with external systems and ensure accuracy, security and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design and build ClickHouse Cloud’s billing and metering platform, creating secure, efficient and highly available frameworks.
• Develop full‑stack features using TypeScript, React and Node.js, leveraging serverless, EKS, SQS and MongoDB.
• Integrate with external billing, metering, logging, monitoring and support systems.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to define business strategies, user needs and optimal solutions.
• Lead large‑scope technical projects and ship production‑ready code.
• Ensure compliance, privacy, observability and reliability of billing services.

Eligibility

• 5+ years of software development experience building cloud‑based front‑end systems.
• Hands‑on experience leading and shipping large‑scope projects.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Node.js and serverless architectures.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure, including EKS, SQS and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of billing concepts such as credit‑card processing, usage‑based billing, invoicing and tax.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging and communication skills.
