Charles Schwab is hiring an Associate Software Development Engineer in Hyderabad to build and support high‑volume, cloud‑based applications. The position is aimed at early‑career developers with up to two years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain critical processing applications using cloud technologies.
Collaborate with engineers, architects and product owners to solve complex technical problems.
Follow industry best practices and coding standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
Provide ongoing support for applications after they go live, ensuring reliability and performance.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
0‑2 years of professional software development experience.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Skills

Proficiency in Java, C# or C++.
Experience with relational databases, SQL and stored procedures (Oracle, SQL Server).
Ability to write unit tests with high code coverage.
Understanding of Agile development practices.
Analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
