About the role
The position focuses on mechanical processes such as screwing, laser welding and final assembly for automotive electronic products. The specialist will ensure production readiness, drive process improvements and support new product introductions.
Responsibilities
- Validate and document production readiness for new product introductions and engineering change requests.
- Coordinate design approvals, line build, pre‑acceptance, installation and release of production lines.
- Troubleshoot second‑level machine downtime and guide corrective actions.
- Resolve internal and customer defects using 7QC tools and PDCA methodology.
- Lead process improvement initiatives including utilization, poka‑yoke, and continuous improvement projects.
- Manage process, customer audits, capability studies and calibration activities.
Eligibility
- B.E. in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering or a Diploma in Mechanical/Tool & Die Engineering.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawing and tooling/fixture design.
- Experience with process capability, statistical process control, control plans and FMEA.
- Proficiency in 7QC tools, GD&T, measurement system analysis and 4M process concepts.
- Ability to apply problem‑solving methods, root‑cause analysis and design of experiments.
- Competence in creating dashboards using Tableau or Power BI for failure analysis.
