Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Backbase is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join its Hyderabad team. You will be responsible for integrating the Engagement Banking platform into client environments, delivering high‑quality UI experiences, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to meet demanding customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Backbase’s banking platform into client systems and extend it with custom frontend solutions.
• Design and implement modern, performant UI/UX patterns, including animations and motion design.
• Write clean, maintainable code while rapidly acquiring deep product knowledge.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and business stakeholders to share vision and drive innovation.
• Travel on‑site to client locations when required and work with R&D on new feature ideas.

Eligibility

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, particularly Angular or AngularJS.
• Hands‑on experience with RxJS, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SASS.
• Comfortable using Bootstrap and staying current with web‑technology trends.
