About the role

The Autodesk Internship 2026 Software Development Engineer role sits inside the COO-ESE-Cipe team and gives student interns hands-on exposure to enterprise-grade product engineering.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, coding and unit testing of features in Autodesk products under senior engineering mentorship.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming and follow industry-standard secure coding practices.
• Investigate bugs, isolate root causes and propose clean, performant fixes.
• Write unit tests, integration tests and contribute to automation suites for continuous delivery.
• Work with Git, build pipelines, code analysis tools and cloud deployment basics.

Eligibility

• Pursuing B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / M.S in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or related engineering disciplines.
• Batch Year: 2026 / 2027 graduating students (expected graduation in May 2026 or May 2027).
• Academic Performance: No active backlogs. Minimum 7.0 CGPA / 70% throughout academics is preferred.

Skills

• Solid foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, and at least one of C++ / C# / Java / Python.
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, JavaScript, basic SQL, cloud fundamentals (Azure / AWS / GCP).
