UI Architect

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a senior UI Architect to lead the design and delivery of cloud‑native front‑end platforms for the GreenLake portfolio in Bangalore. The role blends architecture, engineering leadership, and hands‑on development of React‑based micro‑frontend systems while collaborating across multiple product teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable, cloud‑native web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Define and evolve micro‑frontend frameworks, design systems, component libraries, and UI shells for consistent user experiences.
• Champion AI‑assisted development practices throughout design, coding, testing, and release cycles.
• Design secure, high‑performance interfaces that integrate with cloud services and enterprise identity solutions.
• Set engineering standards, architecture guidelines, quality practices, and CI/CD automation to boost delivery speed.
• Assess emerging technologies and influence long‑term platform roadmaps and strategy.
• Provide technical leadership via architecture reviews, mentorship, and cross‑team collaboration.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Typically 10‑15 years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering modern web applications and large‑scale cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence engineering strategy.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
• Deep expertise with React, component‑driven development, and micro‑frontend architecture.
• Experience building cloud‑native applications and integrating REST or GraphQL services.
• Knowledge of AI‑enabled development tools and modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to author and maintain Terraform infrastructure‑as‑code configurations.
• Understanding of security, identity, authentication, and authorization best practices.
