About the role

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) at Asahi India Glass Limited, you will support production, quality and maintenance operations at the Patan manufacturing plant in Gujarat. The role focuses on safe shop‑floor practices, defect reduction, cycle‑time management and continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and 5S. Fresh engineering graduates from the 2026 batch (Electrical/Mechanical) with at least 65% academic record are invited to join immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe operating practices and deploy SOPs on the shop floor.
  • Identify machine hazards, conduct danger prediction and promote safety awareness.
  • Report defects, maintain quality standards and work to eliminate rework.
  • Operate machines at defined cycle times and improve consumable life.
  • Participate in Quality Circle, Kaizen competitions and 5S improvement activities.
  • Communicate daily issues with supervisors and coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams.

Eligibility

  • B.E/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
  • 2026 graduating batch (or 2025/2024 for freshers).
  • Minimum 65% aggregate in 10th, 12th and UG.
  • Fresher or up to 6 months internship experience.
  • Immediate joiner.
