Apprentice - Risk Reporting & Analytics

About the role

American Express is hiring an Apprentice for its Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) Risk Reporting & Analytics team in Gurugram. This is a 12-month full-time program offering freshers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to risk management, data automation, and financial compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of MIS reporting solutions for risk and compliance metrics.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Assist in root cause analysis by gathering data and identifying risk drivers.
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards and presentations for leadership review.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to support risk-based decision-making.

Eligibility

• Education: B.Tech/B.E, BCA, or B.Sc in Computer Science/Information Technology.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
• Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas) and PowerPoint.

Skills

• Technical (Preferred): Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or Power BI.
• Domains: Familiarity with Risk Management or Financial Services concepts is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder collaboration.
