About the role

Alcon is hiring Apprentice Trainees in Bangalore for a 1-year apprenticeship in software testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Functional Testing: Perform functional, integration, and system testing of software and medical instruments.
• Validation: Support validation processes in line with regulatory and quality standards.
• Test Documentation: Help create and execute test cases and document results clearly.
• Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and track defects through their lifecycle.
• Collaboration: Work closely with experienced engineers in a regulated environment.
• Quality: Contribute to maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

Eligibility

• Graduates in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Batch Year: 2024, 2025, and 2026 graduates can apply.
• Interest: Keen interest in testing and validation of medical instruments and software systems.
• Technical Skills: Foundation in software testing concepts and quality fundamentals.
