About the role

Accenture is hiring a Procurement Operations Associate for its Mumbai office. The role involves processing invoices in SAP, ensuring accuracy, handling tax treatments, and supporting the finance team. Candidates should have a commerce background, 0‑1 years of experience or be fresh graduates, and be ready to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform first‑level quality checks on invoice documentation and accuracy.
  • Identify and process PO and non‑PO invoices, including LGI templates.
  • Flag problematic invoices and communicate issues to the supervisor.
  • Conduct follow‑up with requestors or vendors when needed.
  • Enter correct invoice data into SAP with proper tax treatment and handle foreign‑currency gains or losses.
  • Maintain accuracy, perform buddy checks, and handle amortization of prepaid expenses.

Eligibility

  • Any graduate, preferably commerce degree (B.E, B.Tech, BCA, etc.).
  • 0‑1 years of relevant experience or fresh graduate.
  • Willingness to work in shifts.

Skills

  • Accounts payable processing.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
  • Understanding of GST and withholding taxes.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP.
  • Ability to work with foreign currencies and calculate gains/losses.
  • Good written communication.
