Poshmark

Poshmark, Inc. is an American social-commerce marketplace headquartered in Redwood City, California, that allows individuals and brands to buy and sell new and second-hand fashion, beauty, home, electronics, and pet products. The company was founded in 2011 by Manish Chandra, Tracy Sun, Gautam Golwala, and Chetan Pungaliya, and grew rapidly through a community-driven model that combines social-network features such as following, sharing, and themed Posh Parties with peer-to-peer marketplace mechanics.

Individual sellers — known on the platform as Poshers — list items from their own closets, while a growing number of small businesses, resellers, and brand partners use Poshmark to reach the platform's tens of millions of registered users in the United States, Canada, Australia, and India. The company handles authentication for designated luxury items, provides prepaid shipping labels, and earns revenue primarily through transaction fees on completed sales.
