The company was founded in 2020 by Aniket Singh Chauhan and Surbhi Goyal, originally under the brand MyScoot, and pivoted from an offline events-and-experiences marketplace to a creator-economy SaaS during the COVID-19 pandemic, subsequently relaunching as Exly.
The Exly platform enables creators to host live workshops, paid masterclasses, recorded courses, one-on-one consultations, group coaching, and digital downloads through a personal storefront. It bundles features such as scheduling and bookings, multi-currency payments and payouts, automated email and WhatsApp marketing, customer-relationship management, customer-segmentation tools, affiliate programmes, content delivery, and reporting dashboards into a single subscription product.
