The company was founded in 2016 by Ankush Singla, Kannu Mittal, and Dhawal Parate, alumni of Stanford University and IITs with prior work experience at companies including Amazon and Facebook, with the goal of bridging the skill gap between Indian college curricula and software-industry expectations. The Coding Ninjas platform offers online and bootcamp-style courses across software engineering, data structures and algorithms, full-stack web development, data science and machine learning, competitive programming, system design, and language- and framework-specific tracks. It has reportedly raised more than US$22 million in cumulative funding to date.
