ClearFeed is an Indian software-as-a-service company headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, that provides an AI-powered helpdesk and conversational-support platform layered on top of Slack and Microsoft Teams. The product enables enterprises to run internal IT, HR, finance, and engineering helpdesks as well as external customer-support channels directly inside their messaging platforms, with automatic ticket creation, AI-generated responses, SLA tracking, and integrations into existing service-management systems. The company was founded in 2021 by Joydeep Sen Sarma, Ankit Jain, and Lalit Indoria. Joydeep Sen Sarma was an early Facebook engineer, the original creator of Apache Hive, and a co-founder and chief technology officer of the data-platform company Qubole. Ankit Jain previously led product for the conversational-AI startup Skit.ai and was a founding member of the Y Combinator-backed supply-chain AI startup Sprint AI. Lalit Indoria was an early engineer at Qubole and previously at Udaan. ClearFeed's platform offers AI-suggested answers grounded in an enterprise's knowledge base, escalation and SLA management, two-way synchronisation with helpdesk tools such as Zendesk, Jira Service Management, Freshdesk, ServiceNow, and HubSpot, and analytics on response and resolution metrics across teams. The company is privately held and has raised institutional seed funding led by Peak XV Partners' Surge programme and 8VC, along with angel investors from the Indian and global technology industries. The team is small and product-focused, with engineering, product, design, and customer-success staff based primarily in Bengaluru along with a US commercial presence.
