Test Engineer

About the role

The Test Engineer will join Zimmer Biomet’s Software Applications Development team in Bangalore, focusing on ensuring the quality of software that powers medical devices and digital health solutions. The role covers testing across mobile, web and desktop platforms, with an emphasis on test planning, execution, automation and defect reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, document and execute test cases using JIRA and Zephyr.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to improve overall software quality.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into the build pipeline.
• Perform functional testing on mobile (Android/iOS), web and desktop applications.
• Generate test reports, track defects and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Zephyr, C# and SQL.
• Basic understanding of web technologies and mobile testing concepts.
• Ability to travel up to 10% when required.
