About the role
WNS is hiring fresh commerce graduates for an on‑site Accounts Payable Associate position in Mumbai. The role involves handling supplier invoices, performing invoice matching, processing payments and supporting month‑end and audit activities. Candidates should be comfortable using accounting software and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review and verify supplier invoices and related documents for accuracy.
- Perform two‑way and three‑way matching of invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Process payments via checks, bank transfers or card transactions following payment terms.
- Resolve invoice deviations by coordinating with business stakeholders and clients.
- Assist with month‑end closing, accruals and provide records for internal and external audits.
Eligibility
- Commerce graduate (B.Com, BBA or BAF) from the 2025 or 2026 batch.
- Freshers – no prior work experience required.
Skills
- Understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP/accounting tools such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP or Oracle.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
