About the role

Vecmocon Technologies is seeking a motivated Systems Engineering Intern to contribute to its EV telematics and energy‑stack products. You will assist senior engineers in defining requirements, creating system architectures, and validating hardware, firmware and software components, gaining hands‑on exposure to electric vehicle technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support creation and management of system requirements (SOR/SRS) and functional specifications.
  • Assist in designing system architecture and defining interfaces across hardware, firmware and software.
  • Contribute to DFMEA, risk analysis and design‑improvement activities.
  • Help prepare verification and validation plans and execute functional, performance and reliability tests under guidance.
  • Identify system‑level test cases for powertrain, battery, charger and telematics modules and draft test procedures.
  • Document technical artefacts such as schematics, integration workflows and validation reports.

Eligibility

  • 0–1 year of experience through internships, projects or capstone work in systems engineering, embedded systems or electrical/firmware development.
  • Bachelor's degree (or final‑year student) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
  • Exposure to requirements documentation (SOR/SRS), DFMEA or similar tools via coursework or projects.
  • Basic understanding of power electronics, control systems and circuit debugging.
  • Hands‑on project experience spanning mechanical, electrical and hardware/firmware domains.
