About the role

United Airlines is seeking an Associate Engineer to join their Digital Technology team in Bangalore. The role focuses on Software Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure Automation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Supporting cloud infrastructure provisioning (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Monitoring application performance and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Writing and maintaining automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Assisting in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshooting deployment issues and contributing to continuous improvement.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and DevOps principles.
• Exposure to Git is required.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line and basic shell scripting.
• Eagerness to learn cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Skills

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools is a huge plus.
