Senior Software Development Engineer

About the role

The Senior Software Development Engineer will work on Hershey's consumer‑facing digital platforms, delivering end‑to‑end features across the front‑end and back‑end. The position is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote development, and focuses on building scalable, high‑quality web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive user interfaces with React, TypeScript, and contemporary UI libraries.
• Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to translate requirements into intuitive experiences.
• Develop server‑side APIs and services using Node.js and NestJS, ensuring secure integration with internal and third‑party systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code complemented by unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development processes.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in full‑stack web development.
