Principal Engineer - Frontend (Web)

About the role

Styli is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the design and delivery of high‑performance web applications for its e‑commerce marketplace. Based in Bangalore, you will own the full product lifecycle, drive architectural decisions, and mentor senior engineers while building scalable platforms using React, Next.js, Angular and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design workshops for large‑scale web applications.
• Build end‑to‑end products from requirements through production, including deployment and monitoring.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Design and implement solutions with React, Next.js, Angular, Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Ensure performance, security, scalability, SEO and accessibility across the stack.
• Mentor senior engineers, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Eligibility

• Minimum 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in modern web technologies and large‑scale system design.
• Based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
• Full‑time, onsite employment.
