Frontend Engineer, Data Product Experiences

About the role

Stripe is looking for a remote Frontend Engineer to join the Data Product Experiences team. You will design and implement high‑performance client‑side rendering engines that visualise tens of thousands of data points, creating intuitive and responsive analytics dashboards for merchants worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and product managers to prototype and ship interactive analytics dashboards.
• Develop reusable visualization components and contribute to Stripe’s core design system.
• Define frontend integration patterns and robust API contracts for partner teams.
• Provide technical mentorship through code reviews and pair programming.
• Work across product, design, data infrastructure, and analytics groups to deliver data‑driven user experiences.
• Optimize rendering performance and state management for large, real‑time data sets.

Eligibility

• At least 2 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS/Sass.
• Hands‑on experience building interactive charts using D3.js, Recharts, SVG, Canvas, or WebGL.
• Track record of writing clean, well‑tested code in collaborative environments.
• Ability to create web applications that work across modern browsers and devices.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
