Lead Software Engineer - React Front End

About the role

Société Générale is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to own and evolve the React‑based front‑end of its banking platforms. Based in Bangalore, you will guide a team, shape architecture, and ensure high‑quality delivery in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the web presence of Komerční banka and related applications.
• Collaborate on system architecture and UI/UX design decisions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Operate within Agile squads, coordinating closely with cross‑functional teams.

Eligibility

• Mid‑level to senior experience (around 5 years) with React.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, TailwindCSS, HTML5 and SCSS.
• Hands‑on experience with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, maintainable code.

Skills

• Agile development practices.
• Familiarity with .NET Razor templates, Kentico CMS, unit testing and design patterns is a plus.
