QA Intern

About the role

Signzy is looking for a curious and analytical QA Intern to join its Bangalore team. The candidate will work on understanding product requirements, designing and executing test scenarios, investigating defects, and gaining hands‑on experience with API testing and basic automation. The internship is ideal for fresh engineering graduates with a passion for quality and problem‑solving.

Responsibilities

• Interpret product requirements, workflows and business use cases to create comprehensive test scenarios.
• Design, execute and document test cases covering positive, negative, boundary and edge conditions.
• Identify, reproduce, log and track defects with clear technical details.
• Analyze API requests and responses, validate JSON structures and HTTP status codes.
• Write simple scripts or programs to support test automation and data validation.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues and improve test coverage.

Eligibility

• Completed B.E. or B.Tech degree.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience or internship exposure.
• Strong fundamentals in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript or Python).
• Good logical reasoning, analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of data structures, loops, functions and debugging concepts.
• Willingness to learn automation frameworks, API testing tools and modern QA practices.

Skills

• Programming fundamentals in Java, JavaScript or Python.
• API concepts, HTTP methods, JSON and REST‑API basics.
• Use of Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Basic SQL querying skills.
• Version control with Git.
• Fundamental knowledge of debugging and logical analysis.
