Graduate Trainee Engineer

About the role

Siemens Global Business Services is looking for fresh engineering graduates to join as Graduate Trainee Engineers. You will support engineering projects, prepare basic deliverables, and gain hands‑on experience while working under senior engineers in Bangalore (with travel to Pune and other locations).

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with various engineering and project tasks as directed.
• Learn project scope and requirements during or after technical meetings.
• Review initial project inputs, raise questions, and seek guidance.
• Prepare engineering, programming, graphics, and estimate components under supervision, following Siemens standards.
• Apply basic quality‑control checks to your own work before submission.
• Proactively ask for clarification on technical concepts and project processes.
• Participate in team discussions and contribute to problem‑solving as skills develop.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately within set timelines and report progress to senior staff.
• Record work hours accurately in the timesheet.

Eligibility

• BE or B.Tech degree (minimum 6 months of experience acceptable).
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and resolve issues positively.
• Adaptability to shifting demands and ability to manage time effectively.
