About the role

Shure is looking for a motivated Cloud Operations (SRE) Intern to join its CloudOps team in Hyderabad. The internship offers hands‑on exposure to cloud platform management, monitoring, incident triage, infrastructure automation, FinOps, security, and AI‑assisted operations across AWS and Azure environments.

Responsibilities

Learn the multi‑account AWS/Azure architecture, service dependencies and reliability risks.
Assist with daily cloud tasks such as health checks, configuration reviews, backups and inventory.
Build and tune CloudWatch metrics, alarms and dashboards to reduce alert noise.
Participate in incident investigation, log analysis and create runbooks.
Write Infrastructure‑as‑Code using CloudFormation or Terraform and automate tasks with Python or TypeScript.
Support Jenkins‑based CI/CD pipelines, analyze build logs and keep agents healthy.
Contribute to FinOps activities: cost reporting, tagging hygiene, rightsizing and savings‑plan reviews.
Help with security and compliance work including IAM least‑privilege reviews and SOC 2/FedRAMP evidence collection.
Prototype AI‑assisted operations using LLMs, Generative AI and Amazon Bedrock agents.
Measure automation impact and suggest improvements based on alert noise and incident resolution metrics.

Eligibility

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, AI, Data Science or a related field.
Basic understanding of cloud concepts, Linux, networking fundamentals and virtual networks.
Ability to troubleshoot end‑to‑end systems, communicate findings clearly and work collaboratively.

Skills

Programming/scripting: Python, Java or TypeScript.
Version control (Git) and CI/CD fundamentals.
Familiarity with APIs, JSON, YAML and SQL.
Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira.
Foundational knowledge of Large Language Models, Generative AI and Agentic AI.
