Seagate Technology is hiring an Intern – Machine Learning (Gen AI) in Pune for students pursuing a Master’s degree from the 2025 and 2026 batches.

About the role

This is a highly visible opportunity for freshers to work on Large Language Model based analytics solutions and build hands-on MLOps experience with a global storage technology leader.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and optimise Large Language Model based analytics solutions for business operations.
• Work on the seamless integration of LLM models with existing platforms.
• Leverage commercial models such as Azure OpenAI or open-source models such as Llama to accelerate user workflows.
• Design and implement tools and processes for the entire ML Ops cycle — model development, deployment, serving, monitoring, and experimentation.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business SMEs to deliver end-to-end analytics platforms.

Eligibility

• Pursuing Master’s in Computer Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
• Batch 2025 / 2026.
• Strong Python programming, familiarity with SQL, hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch, and proven experience developing Natural Language Processing models.

Skills

• Strong understanding of machine learning principles & algorithms and generative AI tools and techniques.
• Strong programming background in Python.
• Familiarity with SQL.
