Executive – Software Engineering

KPMG India is hiring for the Executive – Software Engineering position at its Pune office. This role is a strategic opportunity for engineers to build high-scale data infrastructure and analytical tools for national and international banking clients.

About the role

As an Executive in Software Engineering at KPMG, you will be responsible for creating and implementing internal process improvements, including redesigning infrastructure for increased scalability. You will build analytical tools that offer practical insights into company performance indicators like customer acquisition and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Redesign infrastructure for increased scalability and automate manual procedures.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using PySpark and Python.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Analyze banking data, including customer transactions and loan performance.
• Support credit risk analysis and fraud detection initiatives through data.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
• Proven experience in working with large, complex datasets.
• Proficient in Python (Pandas, Numpy) and PySpark.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of RDBMS/data modeling techniques.
