Graduate Engineer Trainee

About the role

Sandvik is seeking ambitious freshers for the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee. This is a 24-month structured development program designed to groom you into a Regional Demand & Inventory Planner role within Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions (SMR).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, employees’ health, and support all EHS initiatives along with other managers & maintain communication.
• Support sales planning through data-driven forecasting and business insights.
• Analyse and challenge forecasts to improve accuracy.
• Manage demand variations and ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure product availability.
• Contribute to S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes and regional planning activities.
• Gain exposure to real-world supply chain, inventory, and customer dynamics.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Passionate about supply chain management with a strong desire to build a successful career in the field.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm for learning, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
