About the role

S&P Global is hiring ambitious early-career graduates for Multiple Apprentice Roles across its primary technology hubs in Hyderabad and Gurgaon.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and maintain application logic under senior guidance
• Participate actively in requirement breakdowns and Sprint Ceremonies
• Formulate test cases and test data, perform manual/automated testing passes, document software bugs, and track remediation
• Assist in structural database health monitoring, deploy SQL queries for verification, and script repetitive automation tasks using Python and GenAI tools
• Help engineer and improve corporate dashboards, aggregate datasets, define core KPI measures, and track data consistency metrics

Eligibility

• Must possess or be pursuing B.E., B.Tech, or Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical disciplines
• Preferably a graduate from the 2026 batch
• Must have zero prior full-time corporate work experience
• Applicants must not have an existing Provident Fund (PF) account in India

Skills

• Foundational familiarity with OOPs concepts and programming stacks such as Java, Python, Angular, C#, .NET, React, or standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Base-level understanding of relational database structures and query syntaxes (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) alongside exposure to Git
• Curiosity towards automated testing, automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, TestNG), and tools like Postman or Swagger
• Strong base in SQL script writing, foundational Python programming, and command-line configurations (Linux/Windows)
• Grounding in Power BI development environments, basic DAX formulas, data modeling, and reporting layouts
