Software Engineer

About the role

Qualcomm is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, modify and validate embedded and cloud‑edge software solutions. You will work on applications and utility programs that power next‑generation products, collaborating closely with hardware, system and test teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply software knowledge to create and validate embedded and cloud‑edge applications.
• Analyse user needs and translate them into software requirements.
• Design and implement small feature components for products.
• Participate in coding, unit testing, debugging and integration activities.
• Conduct code reviews, regression testing and issue triage to maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams and document technical details.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience with C, C++, Java or Python.
• Experience with database management systems and API development.
• Familiarity with Git, Perforce or other source‑code management tools.
