About the role

Procore is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to lead the architecture of its Hubs platform in Bangalore. You will shape highly‑customizable UI experiences for millions of construction users worldwide, driving the next generation of the company’s UI customization strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the runtime platform for Hubs using React, Node.js, TypeScript and Ruby.
  • Create scalable micro‑frontend based user interfaces that deliver world‑class experiences.
  • Enhance templating systems to enable faster Hub development across teams.
  • Write clean, well‑tested, well‑documented code following industry standards and Procore best practices.
  • Explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders through discussions and design documents.
  • Partner with other engineering groups on large‑scale initiatives to unify the construction ecosystem.
  • Define technical standards and operational processes for the team.
  • Provide 24/7 production support to achieve 99.99% uptime for UI services.
  • Mentor junior engineers in both technical and soft‑skill areas.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on UI/API development.
  • At least 5 years of experience handling production monitoring, alert tuning, and incident response.
  • Proven ability to recommend technical investments that improve stability, performance and scalability.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and supporting continuous delivery.
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
